Fuming Mad: Trump's Completely Unhinged 'Fox and Friends' Interview

April FrancisApr 27, 2018

Despite his affinity for Fox News, Trump hasn't sat for an interview with anyone from the news side of Fox News since before he was elected president. "If I authorize or direct my attorney to threaten what a later court determines to be illegal actions against a third-party, I can be held legally accountable for that potential crime; if my attorney makes statements on my behalf, I can be held accountable for them if I authorized them".

"These statements by two of Cohen's three identified clients suggest that the seized materials are unlikely to contain voluminous privileged documents, further supporting the importance of efficiency here", the prosecutors wrote Thursday.

When asked how he would grade his first year and four months in office, Mr. Trump said he would give himself an "A plus". "And they're looking at something having to do with his business". People close to Trump have suggested Cohen is likely to "flip", or cooperate with the government by providing information about others in exchange for a lesser punishment.

Earlier this week, Bloomberg uncovered flight records that revealed Trump's plane was in Moscow for more than 24 hours during the weekend of the Miss Universe Pageant.

Between favorable questions about why Trump's political opponents oppose him, hosts Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt and Brian Kilmeade appeared shocked and uneasy at some of the president's responses.

"I don't know his business, but this doesn't have to do with me", Trump said of Cohen.

"Those memos are about me and they are phony memos", Trump told Fox.

Trump said Cohen represented him on only a "tiny, tiny little fraction" of his "overall legal work".

The (PSL) said it would work closely with law enforcement to ensure that those responsible are subjected to the judicial process. Forty-three people died and 158 were hurt in a stampede during a match between Chiefs and the Orlando Pirates in 2001.

Trump also raised eyebrows when he acknowledged that Cohen, his longtime personal lawyer, represented him in dealings with Stormy Daniels, the adult film star who claims she had a sexual relationship with the president in 2006.

Alan Dershowitz, the famed defense attorney and emeritus Harvard Law professor who has sharply criticized Mueller's Russian Federation investigation in the media, said Thursday that he didn't think Trump's admission about Cohen will hurt him legally. He said his lawyer is really more of a businessman.

The judge overseeing the dispute, Kimba M. Wood of Federal District Court, announced in a hearing that she was choosing Ms. Jones to serve as the special master in the case.

In a court filing on Wednesday, Cohen said that Federal Bureau of Investigation agents had seized "various electronic devices and documents in my possession" which contain information about the $130 000 Daniels was paid as part of the agreement.

Stephen Ryan, a lawyer for Cohen, called Jones "a wonderful choice" to be special master.

After seeking to allow Cohen to review the documents, Cohen's attorneys sought the appointment, while Trump has offered to review them himself.

The prosecutors initially said the documents should be reviewed by a "taint team" of lawyers within their own office, who would be walled off from the main prosecution team.
