Pokemon Quest Announced for Switch and Mobile, Available Now

With Nintendo's anticipated E3 2018 press stream only a few weeks away, it looks like the Japanese gaming giant could be preparing to drop more information about one of the Switch's most anticipated titles: Pokémon.

One of the main differences from previous Pokemon games seems to be the battle system. This would make sense, and bring the games closer to Pokemon Go, but mean that battling trainers would be the only way to level up your Pokes; it'll be interesting to see if you can actually grind.

It connects to Pokemon Go and there's also a brand new device called the PokeballPlus.

Only 44 percent of voters turned out — the lowest in the four elections held since Saddam's ouster in 2003. Al-Sadr said in Tweet he was open to forming a coalition with al-Abadi to form a new government for Iraq.

The Let's Go games are Pokemon RPGs, but they draw from Pokemon Go in a number of ways. With the mechanics simply requiring players to make the throw gesture with the Nintendo Joy-Con. The role-playing game will be followed next year by a more ambitious Pokemon-based title that will debut in the second half of 2019, Nintendo said. You also have the option to transfer Pokemon from Go to Let's Go via a Bluetooth connection; Pokemon you transfer from Pokemon Go will be catchable in a specific area within the Let's Go games. Likely to maintain the integrity of regional Pokemon in the mobile game.

It was also revealed in the Q&A after that separate Switch accounts would have their own saves, meaning that you wouldn't need to buy separate copies of Let's Go to share it with a partner/family member.

VentureBeat is also reporting that there is no trading in the new games. It began with the reveal of Pokemon Quest, which is being released on smartphones as well as the Switch. Pokemon GO may be linked to Pokemon Let's Go, but the game itself is still getting new content.
