Kevin Durant’s reaction to $25K fine caught on camera

May JohnsonNov 24, 2018

Kevin Durant was fined $25,000 on Tuesday for profane remarks he made toward a fan in the Warriors' recent loss to the Mavericks, and the moment the nine-time All-Star found out about the fine was captured on camera.

During that Mavs game, Durant became enraged at a fan sitting nearby, so he walked over to him and told the fan shut the f- up and watch the f-- game.

The Warriors forward was given the news of the fine while on Chris Haynes's podcast.

The fine comes after the reports of Durant's rift with teammate Draymond Green, which escalated to the point of Green being suspended one game without pay.

"Once if gets out there now, I got to make a grown-man decisions and tell myself, 'Look, man, no matter what, you still got to come to work every single day". That's corny. That's weak.

These comments came in the midst in the middle of the current three-game losing streak the Warrior's now sport, and it's clear that tensions are rising. "You're soft. You're weak". Draymond this, Draymond that. However, Durant contradicts the assertion in his comments to Yahoo!

Facebook denies hiding Russian sabotage after shocking New York Times investigation
The Open Society Foundation founded by Soros meanwhile called for an independent probe of Facebook's tactics. Your methods threaten the very values underpinning our democracy.

The former NBA MVP admitted however he had been irked by Green's tirade.

All of this comes as the Warriors are struggling through the worst losing streak of the Steve Kerr era as the team has been forced to reckon with its identity through Steph Curry's absence and all of the Draymond/KD beef.

"When you go through some adversity in your personal relationships and you kind of lay everything out on the table with that human, that person, you start to just really get an understanding for everything", Durant added.

This was further heightened by what appeared to be Durant saying, "That's why I'm out" during the confrontation.

There's seemingly no end to the drama coming out of the Warriors right now, but they're still the team to beat.

Three Thunder players were injured and Oklahoma City still left Oracle Arena with a lopsided win against the ailing, slumping two-time defending National Basketball Association champions.
