Meghan Markle called FAT LADY in HILARIOUS encounter with old age pensioner

Last week the animal charity Mayhew was announced as one of four charity patronages that Meghan has taken on that reflect her passions and interests.

However, while meeting some of the people who have benefited from the charity, one woman called her a "fat lady" - but we really think she did not mean it in a derogatory way and instead was referencing her baby bump.

The Duchess of Sussex visited an animal shelter charity in north London - for which she has just become patron - in a £24.99 dress from H&M.

But the Duchess saw the amusing side, laughed and said: "I'll take that!" On Monday, the royal accompanied husband Prince Harry to Birkenhead in Merseyside, on an official visit to Tomorrow's Women Wirral - an organisation that helps women in vulnerable circumstances.

"She asked about Minnie's story, what she's like and if she's up for adoption?"

Google Assistant makes its way into Google Maps
By just saying, "Hey Google , take me home", the Assistant will immediately guide you on the most convenient route home. Perhaps more importantly, though, it will introduce millions of Google Maps users on iPhone to the offering.

She now owns two rescue dogs - a beagle named Guy and a Labrador-Shepherd mix named Bogart, who remains in Toronto, Canada with her friends.

She said: "He was petrified to come in the front door, he didn't know how to go up and down stairs - all the things you're patient with and then you end up with the best dog in the world".

The duchess is a dog lover who supported various animal rescue centres in her home city of Los Angeles.

The duchess later described her early experiences with her rescue dog Guy, who had been traumatised by earlier experiences.

Animal charity Mayhew works with cats and dogs - including family pets or companions for the homeless - to support local communities through welfare projects, reflecting the Duchess' love for animals.
