Roger Stone open to talking with Mueller in Russian Federation probe

April FrancisJan 30, 2019

Roger Stone, a longtime adviser and confidant of President Donald Trump, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges in the Russian Federation investigation after a publicity-filled few days spent torching the probe as politically motivated.

He added that he didn't know which of Trump's senior campaign official were directed to talk to Stone to find out about further releases by WikiLeaks and said he only worked off of information Stone provided him.

Wearing an all-blue suit and tie, Stone waved to a small crowd of supporters chanting that he did nothing wrong and holding up glowing photos of him.

While Corsi can not definitively prove Stone coordinated these leaks, the conversation that the two of them allegedly shared on the matter is yet more evidence that Stone had intimate inside knowledge of the stolen emails - and was a source for the Trump campaign on the matter.

Stone said in court that he understood he's required to appear for the next hearing - and said nothing more.

Corsi said that he did not have a good mechanism for doing so, but that he made some halfhearted attempts, including issuing "some tweets". Referencing the exclusive footage filmed during his arrest at the hands of unpaid Federal Bureau of Investigation agents on Friday, the host added: "The man is 66-years-old, frail, barely able to post shirtless photos of his jacked body".

Light snow possible today, more Sunday night
Once snow moves out, expect mostly cloudy skies through the rest of the day with temperatures slowly climbing. With breezy conditions in place, wind chills could fall as low as -20 degrees in the metro.

The indictment did not indicate whether Mr Stone knew Russians had stolen the emails by hacking into computers used by Mrs Clinton's senior campaign adviser, John Podesta, and the Democratic National Committee.

McKinnon's Ross should have been the sketch's centerpiece, but Martin in glasses and a Northeastern accent continued a recent tradition of celebrity guests playing members of President Donald Trump's inner circle. "My attorneys are highly confident that they can win an acquittal if I can get a fair trial in the District of Columbia".

Roger Stone speaks to members of the conservative group America First at the Marriott in Boca Raton, Florida.

Stone has repeatedly denied conspiring with WikiLeaks, asking on Friday on CNN: "Where is the WikiLeaks collaboration?" Stone's indictment revealed a link between Republican Trump's campaign and WikiLeaks, the online publisher of secret documents.

In criticizing the arrest method, Napolitano joins Stone himself, who on Sunday said the Federal Bureau of Investigation used "Gestapo tactics", comparing the law enforcement agency to the Nazi secret police force. Look, I honestly believe that they are going to try to charge the president and the vice president with some hoked up frame of Russian collusion.

Prosecutor Michael Marando asked the judge for the same conditions imposed in Florida to apply to Stone in Washington.
