A mint-condition copy of Super Mario Bros for the NES has sold for $100,150 at auction making it the most expensive graded game ever sold.

The sealed box for the above sold game was part of a test-market run of the platform game which makes it incredibly rare and extremely valuable.

It is the only known "sticker sealed" copy of the famous video game which experts say "saved the industry" in the late 1980s. One of those two copies went up for auction recently and set a record.

These were only sold for a brief period of time before the NES' national rollout, while Nintendo was still test-marketing the console in cities like NY and Los Angeles in 1985 and 1986.

So this game survived without ever being opened and, not only that, being barely damaged at all despite not coming with shrink wrap. Not only that, but it's the only known still sealed copy from the test market.

Wells Fargo customers experience issues with online banking and mobile app
The release didn't specify which services aren't available Friday morning, when many customers will expect payday deposits. CST and was under control starting at 9 a.m. "U giving me my $45k earnest $ back?" one Twitter user wrote to Wells Fargo.

The evaluation confirmed this was indeed one of the original US NES cartridges, which is an important distinction. Wata Games, which rates and certifies collectible video games, has given it a near-mint rating of 9.4, while the sticker has been given a seal rating of A++.

The copy was sent to Wata Games several months ago for grading and was rated a near ideal 9.4 out of 10 before being sent back to the owner. Let us know - we're on Twitter and Facebook. It seems fitting that the original Super Mario Bros.is the first game to fetch six figures.

The game was purchased by a group of collectors on February 6. The extra $150 was to cover the seller's fees.

"I've always said, video games are going to go the way of comics, or cars, or coins; it's only a matter of time until a video game sells for a million dollars", Khan said. It's not unthinkable that a copy of Super Mario Bros. like this one could eventually be worth that much. It was bought jointly by three collectors, who will share ownership.
