Rain, strong winds expected around the GTA Sunday

We have issued a Pinpoint Weather Alert Day for the mountains.

Cloudy conditions in place this evening, and clouds will only thicken up through the rest of Friday.

The mountains should stay mostly snow.

Before the changeover to rain, roads could be slippery, the weather service warned: "Expect slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving".

A low around 33 was forecast overnight into Sunday, when the daytime high is forecast near 43, at the airport. North of that line will see several inches of snowfall and blizzard conditions.
