Yes please - Valve is now testing Steam Link Anywhere

Valve is launching Steam Link Anywhere, a new feature for its streaming app that allows users to connect to their computers and play games from anywhere, it announced on Thursday. Once that's done, those using Steam Link through Valve's own (discontinued) hardware, Android app, or Raspberry Pi app will be able to connect to a remote computer running Steam.

It's a big upgrade over the Steam Link game-streaming app which now allows users to stream their Steam games to a connected device - phones, tablets, and smart TVs - within the same network.

The Steam Link Anywhere update now supports the dedicated Steam Link hardware, a Rasperry Pi running Steam Link software, and Android devices via the Steam Link app. That's rather vague but given that Steam Link needs a beefy 5GHz WiFi network to function at home, we suspect you'll need at least an LTE connection to make Steam Link work for you on the move. You could only stream games on your local home network, which sort of defeated the objective of having it on your smartphone. This was only really useful for those times when you want to play a game on your couch.

Democrat Beto O'Rourke announces run for president in 2020
There's no sense in campaigning if you already know every single answer ... that's what brought me here", he said. The Texas Democrat, who has publicly mulled a run for months, confirmed his plans in a text to KTSM .

Steam Link Anywhere is still in its beta stage, but it should provide gamers with relatively decent streaming experience. Steam Link Anywhere is a new service and it greatly expands upon the previous functionality of Steam Link for Android.

Additionally, this news broke out right before Google's anticipated announcement on the upcoming GDC 2019, which will likely be about its game streaming services.

As you would expect, you will need a strong upload connection from your home PC and a strong download connection for the network you are streaming to. You'll also need to be enrolled in the Steam client beta, and have the latest version installed.
